Mr. Nessim was appointed as Executive Vice President of Well Solutions at TAQA in January 2023. He leads TAQA Well Solutions across the Middle East, Africa, Turkey, and Asia, driving growth across all geographies and service lines to realize the company's full potential.
With three decades of international executive experience, Mr. Nessim brings rich and varied expertise to his role. Throughout his 30-year career, he has held operations, functional, and leadership Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Sub-Saharan Africa, France, and the USA.
Before joining TAQA, Mr. Nessim was the co-founder and chairman of Aradi Ventures, a technology incubator utilizing AI and IoT in agricultural technology to address food security. He also served as Group CEO of TBS Holding, an F&B conglomerate, and held leadership roles in the energy industry with Schlumberger Limited.
Mr. Nessim began his career with Schlumberger in 1992 as a Wireline Field Engineer. He advanced to several senior positions, including VP MENA Strategy, Global President of Well Services, Global President of Well Testing & Subsea, Global Vice President of HSE, and Vice President of Angola, Sub-Saharan, and East Africa. He also held management roles in HR, marketing, and product development.
In addition to his role at TAQA, Mr. Nessim serves as a Global Strategy Advisor for Tuyo Ventures, an incubator specializing in solving societal issues through technological solutions. He is an alumnus of the National Preparedness Leadership Initiative at the Harvard Kennedy School of Leadership.
Mr. Nessim holds a B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from Ain Shams University.
