Alya Ebrahim
Alya Ebrahim is a chemical engineer with more than nine years of experience in process safety within the upstream oil and gas industry. During her career, she has served as a Lead Process Safety Engineer on major projects, facilitating and reviewing a range of process hazard studies, including HAZIDs, HAZOPs, LOPAs, QRAs, and Fire and Gas Mapping.
Driven by her passion for process safety, she completed an MSc in Process Safety and Loss Prevention from the University of Sheffield in 2019.
She currently serves as Manager of Safety, Emergency and Compliance at BAPCO Upstream, where her primary objective is to benchmark the company's safety and emergency processes against industry best practices.
