Tuesday, 14 April
Sheikh Maktoum C
Panel and Plenary Sessions

The oil and gas sector is under growing pressure to reduce emissions while ensuring safe, reliable operations. This panel will examine practical, scalable approaches that integrate emissions management, reservoir and operational insights, and responsible AI to transition from reactive “find and fix” methods to proactive “find and predict” strategies. Panelists from operators, maintenance teams, technology providers, and industry organizations will share perspectives on integrating satellite and drone data, applying predictive analytics for maintenance, and establishing governance frameworks for responsible AI. Together, they will illustrate how collaborative, data-driven workflows can reduce routine flaring, enhance safety, and improve operational performance. The discussion will also address implementation challenges, measurement and verification best practices, and actionable steps industry stakeholders can take in the short and long term to advance their decarbonization goals.
