Marit Warncke is a trained psychologist and has extensive management and board experience. In 2006, she became the first female chairman of the Bergen Chamber of Commerce. The following year, she became managing director at the same location. Warncke was leader of the Bergen Chamber of Commerce for 15 years. She came to Bergen Næringsråd as managing director of Nutec. There she started as a researcher in the diving department. In addition, she has held a number of board positions. She previously sat on the board of NHH. Today, she is part of the board of the University of Bergen. In Stiftelsen Fargespill, she was a board member for over 10 years, largely due to her commitment to inclusion and expertise. She has also held board positions in Robin Hood Huset and Bergen Havn AS.
