Adapting to the Energy Transition
Energy professionals from across Europe attended the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Europe Energy Conference and Exhibition (EuropEC) in Turin, Italy, from 26 to 28 June 2024. Under the theme of 'Implementing the Energy Transition Through Innovation and Sustainable Technology', the event provided a common platform across various disciplines, spotlighting the notable scientific and technical advancements in the energy transition.
With its diverse technical content, the event enabled SPE to address the unique challenges facing the industry today.
-
“It is not only a matter of setting the vision, we need to outline the strategy to implement that vision. And the strategy can be successful only if the technical challenges we have ahead of us are first met. At Europec the larger community can take a step forward in this direction. Researchers, professionals, and academics are invited to discuss the technical challenges to be solved, identify the knowledge gaps, and share research progress and industry results - actively contributing to paving the way to the energy transition.”
-
“The SPE Europe Energy Conference stimulates the technical integration that addresses today’s energy transition challenges in the petroleum industry. The conference will accelerate knowledge sharing that will impact the sustainable future of Europe’s energy landscape.”
-
“The SPE Europe Energy Conference is the ideal place to inspire and lead the community of energy professionals and technicians towards an efficient green transition for a sustainable European energy system”.
-
“EuropEC engages and builds a community of different generations of professionals, with varying disciplines, priorities and interests, but united by the common passion – to fuel a healthy and sustainable life on Planet Earth.”
