Graduated in law in 1997 at the University of Parma, he started working in Human Resources at Iveco, dealing with resource management and development.

In 2005 he moved to Italcementi, where he coordinated the launch of new subsidiaries in Egypt and became Group HR Development Manager. In 2007, he joined Eni as HR & Organization Manager for Kazakhstan and subsequently took on increasingly important roles, including Development Vice President for the E&P Division. In 2015 he became Managing Director of Eni International Resources Limited and in 2016 HR Development Senior Vice President.  

In 2021 he was appointed Director of Human Resources at Saipem and in 2022 he became Director of People, Safety and Environment.

Since February 2023 he has been responsible for sustainability activities and his position is redefined as Chief People, HSEQ and Sustainability Officer
