Manuel Sessink is a Senior Drilling Consultant with Vermilion Energy, where he leads the well planning for their multiple projects in Germany. He is also the Founder and CEO of Hydrokite Project Development, driving the development of tidal energy projects in Australia and New Zealand in partnership with Swedish technology company Minesto. With over 25 years of international experience in the offshore energy sector, Manuel has held senior roles at BHP, Santos, and INPEX. At INPEX, he served as Vice President Drilling and founded the i2K innovation initiative to engage emerging leadership talent. He holds a degree in Oil and Gas Engineering from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, supplemented by executive education at the London Business School.
