Salih Merghani

Salih Merghani is an Energy Executive with 24 years of experience in the industry; currently, he is the Executive Vice President for Energy Sector at Olayan Financing Company, where his responsibilities include managing Olayan’s investments in the energy sector. Mr. Merghani is also a Board member of several privately-owned companies in the Middle East. Mr. Merghani joined Olayan Group in 2017 after 16 years in the oil and gas services industry with Schlumberger, the majority of it working in East Africa, GCC Countries, and Latin America.   Mr. Merghani graduated from the University of Khartoum with a first-class bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and started his career as a fluid mechanics engineer in pipelines. He is a member of the World economic forum for ESG practitioners and the Accelerating Hydrogen adoption initiative.
