Saif Al Hamhami

Saif Al Hamhami is a seasoned business leader and the current Chief Executive Officer of Abraj Energy Services, where he successfully led the company’s transition to a publicly listed entity and drove its strategic expansion into regional markets. With over 20 years of leadership experience in the energy sector, Saif brings deep expertise in corporate strategy, governance, ESG, and operational transformation. Under his leadership, Abraj has delivered consistent revenue and profit growth, secured high-profile international contracts, and implemented a roadmap focused on diversification, technology adoption, and operational excellence. Prior to his role at Abraj, Saif held senior leadership positions at Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), where he oversaw large-scale operations, managed multi-billion-dollar portfolios, and led enterprise-wide sustainability and cost optimization initiatives. He has also completed international assignments with Shell and Blade Energy in the United States. Saif holds an MSc in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and a BEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham.
