As Vice President – Digital Sales & Commercial within Baker Hughes’s Oilfield Services and Equipment (OFSE) business segment, Mohamed Shawky partners with operators worldwide to help them realize tangible business value from digital and AI enabled solutions. He focuses on aligning advanced analytics, AI, and digital technologies to operators’ most critical operational and commercial challenges to accelerate adoption at scale, strengthen strategic partnerships, and deliver measurable outcomes.

Mohamed brings more than 20 years of global leadership experience across energy, industrial, and digital businesses, with a strong track record in growth, digital transformation, and commercial excellence. Most recently, he was Global Head of Business Development for Energy at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he led global growth strategies and worked closely with customers on large scale cloud, data, and AI driven transformations. Earlier in his career, he held senior commercial and digital leadership roles at Hexion and Schlumberger, driving business turnarounds, commercializing differentiated digital technologies, and leading high impact global go to market strategies. Mohamed holds a Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University.
