Majida Al-Kharusi

Majida Al-Kharusi is a seasoned energy professional with over 25 years of international experience in the oil and gas industry. Holding an MSc in Petroleum Geology from the University of Aberdeen, she has led both technical and leadership functions across Malaysia, Qatar, and Oman. Her career spans the full energy spectrum, from traditional oil and gas to emerging renewable solutions. Since 2019, she has been a driving force at Shell Development Oman, first joining as Subsurface Manager and now serving as the General Manager of Development & Subsurface. In this capacity, she oversees the exploration, appraisal, and development of gas condensate fields in Blocks 10 and 11, pushing boundaries and helping shape the future of Oman’s energy landscape.
