Kim Code is currently serving as Executive Director – Assets at Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), based in Muscat. With over  30 years of experience over across Shell Group companies , she is a global energy leader. Kim’s career spans non-executive and Board roles for several joint ventures, including Salym Petroleum and Sakhalin Energy, as well as executive leadership of upstream developments in China and unconventional exploration, development, and production in North America.  Kim is passionate about inspiring organizations to achieve their full potential and thrives in engaging with diverse stakeholder groups. She is particularly proud to serve as President of HAWA, PDO’s foremost women’s organization.  A Professional Engineer by training, Kim began her career with a subsurface technical background in her native Canada and at Shell headquarters in Europe. She is a recipient of the Faculty of Applied Science Dean’s Medal of Distinction from the University of British Columbia. Prior to her current role, Kim served as Senior Vice President for Shell’s QGC venture in East Australia and as Chair of the Board of Arrow Energy.  Outside of work, Kim and her husband David enjoy exploring Oman’s natural landscapes, camping and hiking whenever possible—especially during visits from their adult children.
