Ibrahim Al Farei
Ibrahim Al Farei the Well Engineering Director with PDO, brings 26 years of extensive leadership, commercial and technical experience spanning Well Engineering operations, contracts, ICV, special projects and Internal Audit. He began his career in 1999 with Well Engineering and moved up the ranks, holding various WE operations positions in Development, Exploration, Insourcing and Completion & Well Intervention. Ibrahim also worked as the Internal Audit Manager of PDO for two years before returning to WE as the Operation Manager before his current role as Well Engineering Director. Throughout his distinguished career, Ibrahim has consistently driven impactful transformations, upon them is the very early definition of ICV in 2003, leading the AIPSM journey in Wells since its early days, and his pivotal role in shaping the Wells 2030 strategy.
Ibrahim holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Sultan Qaboos University. He actively contributes to the advancements in industry through his participation in various committees, including serving as an executive member in the committee of different conferences in Oman and abroad.
Ibrahim has also been an active contributor to PDO’s Journey of Transformation, demonstrating a strong commitment to embedding a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and empowerment. He has played a key role in aligning Wells’ priorities with the broader organizational transformation agenda championing initiatives that drive efficiency, strengthen leadership capability, and enhance value delivery across PDO.
