The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan expresses its full support for the upcoming 2026 SPE Annual Caspian Technical Conference (SPE CTC), which will take place on 24–26 November 2026 in Atyrau, Kazakhstan.
Currently, Kazakhstan's strategic priorities include the sustainable and efficient development of energy resources, enhanced oil recovery at mature fields, the expansion of geological exploration, and the strengthening of our gas production and processing capabilities. Furthermore, we are deeply committed to reducing emissions and integrating modern technologies. Achieving these objectives requires robust international cooperation and the exchange of best practices, a collaborative environment perfectly fostered by the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
We believe that hosting this event in Atyrau, the country's leading oil and gas hub, is highly fitting. We would also like to highlight the significance of holding the conference at the Atyrau Oil and Gas University, an institution whose graduates consistently become leading experts in energy sphere.
