On behalf of the Executive and Program committees, we are pleased to introduce the second annual SPE Canadian Energy Technology Conference and Exhibition.
The conference program continues to highlight the technical excellence and advancements within the Heavy Oil and the Unconventional Resource sectors, and has extended the scope to include offshore, ESG and clean technologies, carbon utilization and storage potential, geothermal and hydrogen. We have also organized several sessions on data science, an ever increasing area of focus in our business. The goal is to bring diverse energy professionals together in a mix of technical sessions and panel discussions to catalyze discussion, creative collisions and serendipitous connections. The exhibition floor showcases the latest products and services and provides an excellent venue to catch up with long-time colleagues and meet new people.
As energy professionals, we are working to fulfill the energy needs of society while protecting the environment and public welfare. The need for the energy industry to innovate and collaborate has never been stronger, and our environmental goals never more ambitious. The Canadian oil patch arguably rivals the aerospace industry in its track record of innovation, ingenuity and reliability. Our mission is to leverage our resourcefulness and build on the strong foundation of reliable and affordable energy that oil and gas provides, and to sustainably meet the world’s energy demands into the future. The SPE Canadian Energy Technology Conference and Exhibition is bringing the energy industry together; connecting inquisitive minds and new ideas with time-tested experience and expertise.
