Accommodations

Accommodations are NOT included in the registration fee. Contact The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center at or 281.367.9797 and refer to the group name, SPE Artificial Lift Conference & Exhibition or CLICK HERE to reserve your room at the negotiated rate of USD 239 plus taxes per night. Rates at the hotel are offered 3 days before and after the conference, based on availability. You MUST identify yourself as an SPE Artificial Lift Conference & Exhibition Attendee. After 31 July, hotel reservations will be subject to availability at the prevailing rates.

Cancellation Policy

Registration cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to registration@spe.org  and must be received on or before 5:00 p.m. Central Time on 10 August 2026 to receive a refund, minus a USD 150 administrative processing fee. Cancellation requests received after 10 August 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Central Time are not eligible for a refund.

No refunds will be provided for no-shows. If you do not attend and fail to provide written notification in advance of the first day of the event, you will not be eligible for a refund. By registering for the event, you agree to comply with the terms outlined in this cancellation policy. Please note that refunds will not be granted if you receive complimentary guest invitation. No exceptions.

Student conference registrations are subject to a USD 25 administrative processing fee for cancellations.

Substitution Policy

Substitution/replacement registrations are offered as a one-time courtesy as long as a badge has not been printed. Replacing a registered ALCE attendee with a business colleague or co-worker will be accepted.

Visa Information

Attendees from countries that require a US visa for entry are reminded that the process of obtaining a visa may take several months. Create an official SPE invitation letter that you can print and use in obtaining a visa. Please note that this letter does not guarantee that you will be granted a visa, nor does it commit SPE to assist you in obtaining a visa.

Badge Pickup

Badges will be available for pick-up on-site at the registration desk.
