He is currently serving as the CEO of Praesagus RTPO, a leading multinational oil and gas technology and consultancy firm. He has a master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. His experience spans India, USA and other parts of the world working with oil and gas majors such as BP and Shell before his current role. He also serves on advisory boards of various startups.

Mr. Chitale’s experience spans from greenfield deep-water projects to onshore mature assets needing revitalizing. Mr. Chitale is passionate about the role of technology in delivering value to the end users

He has served on several Society of Petroleum Engineers committees and regularly speaks at panel sessions in many international oil and gas conferences.
Mr. Chitale also volunteers his time for several startups as a business advisor and NGO’s for betterment of disadvantaged children. One such organization is Ankur Vidya Mandir,an all-inclusive education school in Pune for kids with various disabilities learning alongside normal kids. He helps the students learn to find joy in science through hands-on experiments and projects.
