No Facility Left Behind: Unlocking Their Potential in the Digital Era

Wednesday, 10 June
Louvre I
Technical Session
Most facilities currently in operation were designed at the start of the digital era with little understanding of how the industry would evolve. Current operations are constantly adapting to implement the newest techniques and technology, constrained by rigid facility design. In this session, attendees will be exposed to risk mitigation for geotechnical uncertainties in offshore facilities, enhancing operator competency via digital twin simulation and assessing risk throughout the project life cycle. This session is targeted to attendees interested in understanding the importance of the design stage of the facility in the lifecycle of the oil and gas project and how facility adaptation during its lifecycle can impact its operators.
