Technical Session
This session brings together papers that explore how effective management strategies, data integration, and stakeholder alignment are shaping the future of energy assets, particularly mature oil fields across Latin America. Presentations address knowledge management in complex asset life-cycle decisions such as FPSO decommissioning, as well as integrated water and reservoir management approaches to sustain production in mature and heavy oil fields. The session also examines regional and contractual perspectives, including data-driven views of Latin America’s energy landscape and practical strategies for negotiating production contracts with governments.
